HYDERABAD: Attapur is considered a prime locality in Hyderabad. It is witnessing rampant commercial and residential real estate growth in the last couple of years. Improving connectivity, infrastructure and neighbourhood are some important aspects which have supported its extensive growth. Kaneez Abdul, a real estate agent says, “Attapur is an upcoming area. Due to its location, this area is a good option for investment for employees of Hi-Tech city.”

Attapur offers a plethora of residential options which include villas, residential houses, multi-storey apartments, penthouses, single floor apartments and residential plots. The capital value of these residences is between Rs 17 lakh to Rs 1 crore plus. The capital value of residential plots ranges between Rs 28 lakh to Rs 1 crore. Monthly rent in Attapur is Rs 7,000 onwards. Karthik Raghu, an owner in this locality says, “Attapur is a peaceful area with more than 1000 families staying together in harmony. This is an upcoming locality which has lately caught the interest of key builders. Excellent connectivity to all tourist spots, hospitals and transport points accentuate the potential of the area.”

Shamshabad International Airport is situated very close to Attapur. Some neighbouring areas include Mehdipatnam, Hyderguda, Jyothi Nagar and Lakshmi Nagar, among others. Popular mode of transport is buses and metro trains. There are two APSRTC depots in Rajendranagar and Mehdipatnam and two MMTS stations in Lakdikapool and Nampally, which are closest to Attapur. The Mehdipatnam-Aram Garh Expressway goes through the area. The PVNR Expressway in Attapur connects the International Airport, Outer Ring Road and Inner Ring Road.

The social fabric is well developed. It houses supermarkets, local markets, schools, theatres and clinics. Murali R of Roark Enterprises Pvt Ltd says, “Attapur owes its rising popularity to its close proximity to Hi-Tech city and the Airport. It is one of the fastest growing areas which contain shopping malls, multiplex theaters and all corporate schools within a radius on one km.”
Sohail Khan, a property owner says, “Amenities such as hospitals, schools, city center, airport, market and everything else required in daily life is very easily available in the area. Residentially and commercially Attapur is a good place to invest.”
