Natuzzi to expand India presence

HYDERABAD: Italian luxury brand Natuzzi plans to expand presence across 15 more stores in India over the next one year, according to its Country Manager Nitin Bahl.

The company’s Leather Editions brand is one of the largest integrated manufacturers of leather furniture. The company has manufacturing facilities in Italy, China, Brazil, among other locations, and procures all of its furniture requirement from its own facilities.

Nitin Bahl said that the company has presence in over 22 stores in India and plans to be present in 15 more over the next one year.

When asked if the company would consider a manufacturing unit in India, he said, “We need to have enough volumes to take such a decision. We are currently expanding our presence in India. Once we establish them we will look at that option.”

Leather Editions offers its luxury leather sofa range between Rs 2.2 lakh and Rs 4.5 lakh.

AMC plans 9,959 houses for weaker sections

AHMEDABAD: The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has decided to build 9,959 houses for the weaker sections of the city.
