NOIDA: The Greater Noida Authority has started publishing notices in Hindi-language newspapers regarding clearance of layout plans, maps and floor area ratio (FAR) of various real estate projects. The move, which is in keeping with the UP Apartment Act, is to enable flat buyers to bring to the Authority's notice their objections to any aspect of the plan.
Over the past week, the Greater Noida Authority cleared the layout plans of AIG Infratech, Gaur Sons Hi-tech Infrastructure, UP Township, Wisdom Infra-Build, Panchsheel Buildtech, Hay-bay Infrastructure, Rudra Builders, Galaxy International and APV Realtors.
The Noida Extension Flat Owners Welfare Association (NEFOWA), which recently filed over 100 RTIs with the Greater Noida Authority recently, has come forward to help the buyers of the projects to identify anomalies and help file objections.
"We will be happy to help any buyer in identifying discrepancies and filing objections. We welcome the Authority's move. Buyers will have the freedom to get involved in their projects at this stage," Indrish Gupta, co-founder of NEFOWA, told TOI.
The association has decided to reach out to buyers in the coming days to help them understand the details of their projects.
