Notice issued to Asaram ashram near Bhavnagar

RAJKOT: Bhavnagar Area Development Authority (BUDA) on Tuesday issued a notice to Asaram ashram in Lakhanka village near the city for land encroachment.

"The ashram was constructed without prior permission from BADA and therefore we have issued a notice. First, we will give them the chance to put their side and later on, necessary action will be taken in this regard," chief executive officer (CEO) of BADA Jagdish Trivedi told TOI.

The ashram has 10 rooms, one big prayer hall and campus, Trivedi said.

GANDHINAGAR: The state cabinet has cleared four low-cost housing schemes under the Mukhyamantri Aavas Samruddhi Yojana for the lower income group (LIG), the middle income group (MIG) and the urban poor.
