AHMEDABAD: Arising centre of education, information technology and scientific industries, Ahmedabad remains the heart of Gujarat and much of western India. The city is on its way of proving itself as an ideal place for acquiring residential and commercial properties due to excellent infrastructure and the kind of facilities it offers. As a result, many new projects are coming up in the already existing areas and new ones.

Naranpura is one of the oldest areas of the ever growing western part of Ahmedabad. This is one such area which is in the heart of the city and has many new residential projects coming up. Further, it is considered one of the posh and prosperous localities of the city. As a result, there is a huge competition in the market and many people are looking to invest in the area.

Supply and demand always play a vital role in appreciating the value of a residential property and same is the case with Naranpura as well which is best suited for residential and commercial properties. Naranpura has developed into a commendable residential area mostly because of the educational and commercial facilities available nearby. There are many housing societies in the area. There are several schools and educational institutes situated here. Further, since the area is green, most of the builders are selling their projects with the tag of eco friendly homes which is also aiding in the growth of the area.

Aditi Shah, an IT student, says, “I study in Gujarat University and it is very near to Naranpura. Due to this, it is very convenient for me to commute from my home. That’s one of the main reasons why I like this area.” In fact, it is the same with her friends who stay in Naranpura as proximity to basic amenities is one of the major factors while choosing a residential property.

Not only the area has good residential properties but it also has commercial spaces as well. Naresh Patel, a shop owner in Naranpura area, says, “The development of this area has been noteworthy. In the last 15 years, many things have changed and for good. Now, Naranpura has very good residential as well as commercial properties with all the facilities.”

Overall, Naranpura is one of the prominent localities in Ahmedabad. The price trends in Naranpura have witnessed various ups and downs. However, the demand has remained unaffected. Even when the realty sector was going through the slump phase, the demand in this area was not impacted. Thus, well developed infrastructure and its proximity with all the important parts of the city make Naranpura, a prominent locality for buying residential and commercial properties.
