Anti encroachment drive BDA recovers Rs 20.5 crore worth property

BANGALORE: The Bangalore development authority(BDA), the planning authority for Bangalore city has recovered three prime properties worth Rs 20.5 crore , after freeing them from encroachment and illegal occupation.

The BDA task force conducted an operation and removed illegal structures and demolished hundreds of sheds over an area of 2 acres and 3 gunats of land in Gollahalli vilage, Anjanapura 5th G Block layout.The property is said to be having an estimated value of Rs 15 crore in the market.

In another operation, the task force removed unauthorized sheds which had come up on two sites measuring 60x40 each at J P Nagar 8th phase, 2nd Block layout. Property to an extent of 4,800 sft and worth Rs 2.5 crore was recovered.

In the third instance, the BDA authorities recovered a property having 396 square mtrs extent and valued at Rs 3 crore in OMBR layout in Banasawadi village .
