THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: After the one year programme, the State Government will initiate Vision 2030, a comprehensive programme for the overall development of the state, Chief Minister Oommen Chandy said.

Addressing reporters here, he said that suggestions and ideas from the people in the State and Non-Resident Keralites will be sought for preparing a comprehensive development plan of Vision 2030.

Chandy said that his government was guided by a clear concept for the development of the state in the next two decades. Stating that the agricultural sector were facing certain problems, he said that this was  because of the weakness of the system.  Chandy said that everyone could send their suggestions, ideas and views for the development of Kerala so as to work out  Vision 2030.
