LUCKNOW: A businessman dealing in real estate and his associate, who were reportedly using the sample flat of their own apartment for some 'fun' were nabbed by the police on Thursday evening along with a girl.

The builder's father is a well-known tailor who has a shop in Janpath market.

Mohammad Naushad and his associate Ujjawal Babbar alias Sunny were held after police raided flat number 306 of Yash Silver Heights, the four-storeyed apartment located at a walking distance from Badshahnagar crossing. Naushad, Babbar and the girl were allegedly found in an objectionable state. They have been booked under Suppression of Immoral Trafficking Act.

A few weeks ago, 12 persons including a girl were nabbed when residents of Yamuna apartment in Gomtinagar extension had complained about immoral activities taking place in a flat.

Moreover, a sex racket operating in a guest house in Vipul Khand was busted in June in which five girls and five clients were arrested.

"We were tipped off on Thursday at around 4 pm that three to four girls and a few politicians were indulging in immoral activity in the flat. A raid was conducted and the three persons were nabbed," said inspector in-charge of Mahanagar police station Nagendra Chaubey.

All the three persons were detained and grilled to get to the bottom of the matter.

The girl told the cops that she had shifted to the city from Basti early this year. Through an acquaintance she got into the flesh trade and stayed at Alambagh along with her friends.

She told the police that she had visited the apartment in the past on multiple occasions. Initially, Naushad kept on hiding his family background but spilled the beans on being grilled hard.

"Naushad alongwith some partners constructed apartment buildings in trans-Gomti area and stays in Vijay Khand-2. He has a small child and his family is very religious", said Chaubey.

Some objectionable material like condoms were also found on the bed, the inspector added.
