Greater Noida Industrial Dev Authority
NOIDA: Noida Authority on Tuesday freed 2 lakh sq metres of government land from illegal occupation along the Noida-Greater Noida main road leading to Greater Noida (west). The Authority also lodged a complaint with the Gautam Budh Nagar police against illegal developers for criminal conspiracy, cheating, forgery and fraud in the matter. Five persons have been booked in the case.
"There were illegal constructions in the Lakhanvali village area. Unauthorized colonizers under the name of Magadh Associates were selling plots in Magadh Enclave (I,II,III) in sectors 144 and 150. These were razed to the ground," said M C Tyagi, in charge of Work Circle (8), who led the drive.
The land located in the flood zone area near the village in Noida was levelled on the directions of Rama Raman, chairman and CEO, Noida Authority.
