New policy for land regularization in Kutch

GANDHINAGAR: Gujarat government on the Kutchi new year announced a new policy for regularizing excess land holdings in Kutch district. Under the new policy, lands found to be up to 20% more than that mentioned in records will be regularized by charging one time jantri rate. In case, the land holding is more than 20% in excess of size mentioned in records, double the jantri rate will be charged to regularize it.
