GREATER NOIDA: Close to 100 buyers gathered at Paramount's Golfforeste housing society in Greater Noida on Sunday in protest against ?the delay in completion of their flats. The buyers said they were to get possession of the flats by 2013.

Construction work of the units is still under way, the buyers alleged. They said there are 1,600 units in the society, most of which have ?been sold.

"When we booked our houses in 2010-11, we were told we will be getting their possession by 2013. No unit has however been handed over till now. Most parts of the complex in fact are under construction. Adding to our woes, the developers have stopped talking to us or even corresponding with us," said Siddharth Lamba, a buyer.

"We have learnt that the units have not received completion certificates by the Noida Authority. Can the builders give us the true picture?" asked another buyer, Ajay Gupta.

"We have come to voice our protest and will continue to do so until the builders respond to us," said Varun Rai, also a buyer.

Despite the daylong protest by the buyers, no official of the developer met them. TOI could not reach the developers despite repeated attempts.
