Bhubaneswar: The three day property expo by the Confederation of Real Estate Developers Association of India ( Credai) -Odisha chapter might generate property deals worth Rs 200 crores.

On the basis of enquiries made by the customers during the three- day event, about 500-600 residential units may be sold in next four – five months, said DS Tripathy, President, Credai-Odisha chapter.

Thirty eight developers had participated and set up their stalls in the Property Expo-2013 held from January 19-21 showcasing about 150 projects ranging from apartments, simplex to duplex units. The exhibition witnessed a footfall of around 3,500.

Tripathy said, the last expo had witnessed sale of around 400 dwelling units. In the backdrop of slowdown in the real estate sector, he said, the response from the customers was quite good.
