KOLKATA: Eden City Group one of the renowned real estate developers in the city with its flagship project Eden City Maheshtala has announced ‘Homegain’, an innovative home owning option. ‘Homegain’ home owning option is offered for its ready-to-move-in apartments that allow one to take possession of his new home by paying a minimum of 20% of the property value. The buyer is also required to sign a home loan agreement for the balance amount; the EMI for which starts after one year.
This is a first of its kind initiative in the country which will allow many families staying in rented accommodation to own their own abode with much ease.
One can reap multiple benefits by simply signing up for ‘Homegain’ home owning option. Since, the EMI starts from 13th month; the buyer enjoys free stay for 12 months as during this period he is not required to pay any rent or EMI.
Moreover, one can save the amount equivalent to EMI or even more every month for and pre-pay part of the principal amount of his home loan at the end of the year. As a result, the principal home loan amount reduces and the EMI amount for the rest of the home loan tenure also gets reduced. That is not all. One can enjoy appreciation for one year for the entire property value by paying only 20%.

Since the customer now has the convenience of paying his EMI after 12 months, not only the rent that he used to pay earlier has stopped but he also gets EMI holiday for a full one year,” said Biswadeep Gupta, Vice President-Marketing, Eden City Group.
Salaried individuals/ Businessmen/ Professionals having the status of Resident Indian / NRI / Persons of Indian Origin or Karta of HUF can buy a property under ‘Home Gain’ loan option subject to approval by the Bank or Financial Institution which has endorsed such a home owning option.
