First ever Real Estate Award to be held in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Odisha is going to have a maiden Real Estate Award-2015 scheduled to be held on 17th of January next year.

The real estate award, a first-of-its-kind event, is an initiative of Focus Odisha, a leading privately-owned channel of the state, in collaboration with CREDAI-Odisha and The Institute of Architects-Odisha Chapter, as knowledge partner, is all set to confer awards for developers in different categories.

“The categories include, Best Affordable Housing in residential segment divided into two categories, one built up area below 1 lakh sqft and another above that with pricing up to Rs 15 lakhs,” Jagannath Das, VP, Sales & Marketing, Focus News Network said to

“Similarly, in commercial projects category, built up area below and above 40,000 sqft are to be considered for the purpose,” he said.

“Focus Odisha has taken this step towards felicitating those developers who have rendered dedicated service in providing housing for the people of the state in terms of quality and commitment,” Das added.

Other categories in which the developers are to be honoured include, best group housing with pricing above Rs 15 lakhs, in addition to best environment friendly project, best district level real estate developer, best housing society of the state, best architectural design and best emerging developer of the state.

Builders have to submit soft copies of floor plan, site plan, layout, concept note, certificate, maps, photographs and other relevant documents while submitting their nomination to the awards management.
