Ghaziabad Development Authority invites builders for affordable flats
UP government has waived off stamp duty on the purchase of land for the purpose

GHAZIABAD: The Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) has invited applications from builders who are keen to construct affordable houses for the common man. 

GDA vice-chairman Santosh Kumar Yadav said the UP government has waived off stamp duty on the purchase of land for the purpose. 

Land measuring five to 100 acres could be bought for the houses. The prices of such affordable houses would range from Rs 15-30 lakh. No development tax and no land use conversion charges would be levied on builders who come forward to build affordable houses.
