CHENNAI: Confederation of Real Estate Developers’ Associations of India (CREDAI) in the city, will organise a home loan mela at Vijaya Mahal in Pondy Bazaar from February 13 to 15 between 10 am and 8 pm. Leading lending banks including Axis Bank, ICICI, HDFC, SBI and Punjab National Bank, Karur Vysya Bank, Oriental Bank of Commerce, Sundaram BNP PARIBAS, LIC Housing Finance and India Bulls will take part in it, according to a press release.

Ajit Chordia, president, CREDAI Chennai, said this was, in fact, a one-of-its-kind home loan mela bringing all leading bankers under one roof.  “We guarantee a unique experience for customers and this has been organised keeping customers in mind, to aid with pragmatic choices in acquiring their dream home,” he said. Since its inception in 1999, the association has grown manifold with allegiance from 22 States and 156 city-level associations. CREDAI has been instrumental in rallying the cause of the real estate sector by presenting the issues and concerns of real estate developers to the government.
