Bhubaneswar: The Annual conclave of Confederation of Real Estate Developers Association of India [CREDAI] begun on Monday at Hotel Taj Palace in New Delhi, inaugurated by Union Minister of Urban Development, Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation and Parliamentary Affairs, M Venkaiah Naidu.
Over 800 realtors from across the Country participated in the 2-day Credai conclave here. Similarly, around 50 developers from Odisha pertaining to key cities like Bhubaneswar, Cuttack and Berhampur joined this mega event at New Delhi.
The mega conclave was organized by Credai in line with the Union Government’s much touted mission “Housing for All” by 2022; and it will emphasize on “Clean-India, Skilled-India & Strong-India”, according to D S Tripathy, National Joint Secretary- Credai.
“The initiatives taken into hand by Credai like; ‘Clean India’ and ‘Efficient India’ model would be presented during the conclave, which will be implemented pan India,” Tripathy added.
It is to be noted that, Credai, the apex body of realtors in India, consisting of over 9,000 members and having 23 state and 151 city chapters, is all set to launch a ‘Zero Garbage in the Housing Complexes’ campaign across the Country as a part of Union Government’s ‘Swachh Bharat Mission’.
Dignitaries like Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, Minister of Environment and Forest Prakash Javadekar, Power, Coal and New & Renewable Energy Minister Piyush Goyal will address the developers in the said Credai conclave, sources said.
