Punjabi folk duo Hari and Sukhmani perform at Diwali celebrations hosted by real estate group in Gurgaon

It was an environment-friendly Diwali celebration for the residents of Central Park I, II and III, when the real estate group, one of the prominent builders based in Gurgaon, hosted a resort-style party with a casino nights theme.

Guests were seen enjoying in the large expanse of 20 acres of greenery, which has fountains, water bodies, lights and music, free from crackers. Other than the performance by Punjabi folk duo Hari and Sukhmani, the do also had casino games and kids' activities. A food court was also put up. The evening saw guests like Dilip Puri and Rajneesh Talwar, who are also residents of the place, celebrating with friends and family. Amarjit Bakshi, founder and MD, Central Park said, "This place has been designed with the thought - what if we have to spend the rest of our lives in these residences? And so, everything, including the festivity and celebrations, has to be of a certain standard."

Jyotsna Chauhan, chief marketing and strategy officer, Central Park, said, "We wanted something different for our residents this festive season. This society, with its central greens, water bodies and fountains dotting the landscape, offer respite from the usual bursting crackers and typical Diwali melas. We wanted our residents to enjoy and welcome the festivities here. We are a customer-centric organization and all our initiatives are for them."
