Woman attempts suicide, blames Rajkot based real estate developer

Rjkot: An 18-year-old woman, Neha Pitroda, a resident of Tulip apartment, consumed poisonous substance on Friday evening near Eagle Petrol pump and alleged that she was being harassed by a city-based real estate developer Kamlesh Ramani. She also left a note which mentions Ramani's name.

She was taken to civil hospital for treatment. According to police, the woman consumed phenyl just outside the petrol pump owned by Kamlesh Ramani. In her suicide note, she alleged that Ramani molested her but police did not take her complaint and therefore she took this step.

Sources said that Neha was out of danger and a probe was launched into her allegations.
